I am going back to Golden on Tuesday, and I have started packing all my stuff. I have one bag down already, and it has nothing in it but books. My backpack is full of paper and my little sidebag I had junior year is full of binders and stuff. I'm worried about my plants, because there are a lot more of them and I don't want them to tip over in the car. I suppose I'll have to carry them, or get a box of some kind.
I have a one day break and then I'm going to have to turn in a journal, and then take a test on American Literature. Then I have to do a presentation on Tuesday, and I'm all done.
I might even be able to sneak out early from the presentation, so I'll get to come home soon.

Trying to tye up some loose ends here in Boulder before I head on back to Golden. I'm really excited for summer, I'm looking forward to not having an assigned reading list, and to getting Court TV on cable.

I was looking over my little window garden a second ago, and I'm worried about finding them all a good place in my new apartment next year, or finding them a good place at home, because although they seem to like the upstairs bathroom, I'm not sure they are getting enough sunlight.
Oh well. My plants are pretty hardy I guess. That orchid is coming back from being dead with is a good sign.

I think my last exam is on Tuesday week after next, and all I really have left to do is write out some bullshit papers on religion and journal for like forever for my American Literature class.
I've been putting a lot of that off. I don't like reading when someone else tells me how to do it.
I've been sort of teaching myself to sew over the last couple days, and I have already made one really decent purse, for like during the day and stuff, but I still need to find a strap for it. I'm also working on a little fancy purse, and trying to make a lot of bows for it, but really, I have other more important stuff to do.

I still need to find out when my American Literature exam is.
I've asked, but I forget the day.

I got a call back from victoria's secret, it seems that tomorrow they are having a recruiting meeting starting at 3:30. I have a class until 3:00, and there is no way that I could possibly be down at Belmar by 3:30, so I told them to give me a call back if they had any openings in the future at all. (Which really sucks, because I would have loved to work there, good pay, plus the added esteem of being one of those proper lovely women in their black jackets sitting behind the counter.)

Oh well.
On the plus side I'm going into the finals stretch, and starting to work on the last of the papers I'm going to have to turn in this semester. I love working on these, because unless I specifically ask to have my paper given back to me, and I supply postage and an envelope (Which I wouldn't) I wouldn't ever have to read my professor's comments on the papers, so I can pretty much bullshit as much as I want without having to worry that I'll feel like an idiot later. I hate re-reading all my english papers. (and I never get as big assignments or as picky teachers as I do in English.)

I suppose that I'll have to start working on getting some sort of job soon for this summer, but that is still a couple of weeks off.

Have a big research paper that I should be working on, and a couple of other papers to do, but really don't feel like putting a decent amount of effort into any of it.

I have a paper to write on Judaism.
I was thinking about completely bullshitting it by myself, and then making up my own sources.
Or just completely ignoring the guidelines.
Maybe reading the guidelines and doing exactly not what the guidelines says to do.
Hmm.
Write on Western Religions.
No.

Saucy Jacky [Apr. 10th, 2006|11:47 pm]
I think that it is very important that someone in the near future goes into build a bear, and makes a victorian gentleman bear, and leaves the seam untied.

They shall name this bear...
Jack, the Ripped Bear

Birthday presents for the greedy [Apr. 10th, 2006|09:03 pm]
So I guess that 'From Hell' was a comic book about Jack the Ripper, by Alan Moore.

Eye would like to have this.
Also V for Vendetta would be lovely.

Started reading the DaVinci code, which isn't as good as everyone says it is.
There are some moments where the writer seems to be actually pretty praiseworthy, but he gives his main characters the same 'Harry Potter' complex as J.K. Rowling.

Yesterday I went shopping with my mom for my birthday. It was a good time, we got food from the california pizza kitchen, at flat irons, and went to pearl street.

My mom bought me two books about the local 'hauntings' of Boulder. I went with my friends last night to check out some of the houses, and we wound up going into a music store that had old record players on its top level. The record player part of the store was run by this tiny little chinese guy, and something about that made me giggle.
I guess our auditorium here at CU has a ghost too, but it was closed by the time we got to it, so all we saw were racoons.

I need to stop spending so much money.

I messed up my foot by kicking a door stop on accident. One of my toes is all purple and hurts to touch.
I've been looking for apartments, but so far none of them are anywhere close to what I am looking for price/location/allowingdogs wise.
I miss my mom. I'm going to go out with my family next weekend for my birthday, and I am really excited about it.
Time to go put the laundry in the dryer.
